From a red unheated cabin and a set of semi-finished songs,
Moll Flanders´ second full-length album eventually derived, if you can`t understand what you don`t understand it`s not easy.
It´s not established whether the sensation of warmth on the album is picked up from the hundreds of live candles consumed during the process or if it was the band's desperate longing to get away from the freezing studio. Regardless, the sound is moving in and out of the cold, feverish yet vigorous.
If you can`t understand what you don`t understand it`s not easy is about everything from burning sheaves, betrayal, hope and hypochondria, to forgetting Valentine's day. Release date: April 24, 2009, May 8 in Sweden
“You can blame me, cause I’m not that good.” Was originally a simple “three chords song” by Mathias, but evolved through contributions made by the entire band. For example the influences of Christian's synthesizer and Claes' bass guitar, which makes your mind wonder to a juggling circus clown.
“Maybe visit myspace online, but my computer sucks. I’ll take a nap.” Christian was home sick a friday night and that resulted in Friday Night. This is the song which Christopher enjoys the most playing drums to.
